Hello
This is my first post- so hope I am doing this in the correct place.. I wonder if anyone can help me with finding out where my grandfather was a prisoner of war in the 1st WW. I have found the record of his campaign medals, regiment no. and what corps he was in from Ancestry.co.uk. His enlistment was from 4-6-1917 to 3-9-1919, not very long but my Grandmother always told me his early death at age 46 in 1946 from TB was as a result of his treatment during his time in a camp. I also have a photograph from his time in the camp where he was acting dressed up as a lady.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks Janet
